Lior Avitan is co-founder and CEO of UltraWis, a digital technology company created in 2019 as a spin-off from Israeli tech firm Elbit Systems. UltraWis leverages proven technology to transform tower crane operation, with a ‘smart cockpit’ on the ground where the operator can manage a site.

Lior brings more than 16 years of experience in system engineering and management of multi-disciplinary technology projects at Elbit Systems and now UltraWis.

Prior to Elbit he worked for two years as a project manager in a cellular communications company and three years as a communications and computer officer in the Israel Air Force.
