TOPIC: Using drones to inspect industrial structures
Patrick is an experienced GIS (geographic information systems) analyst and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAS) specialist with over 10 years’ experience in the geospatial and remote sensing industry.
In his current role as technical director for Skeye he is responsible for UK surveying and inspection tasks and brings experience and expertise from his time at aerial surveying firm Skycap and at Intelligent Mapping Solutions (IMS).
Patrick is qualified to fly both fixed wing and multi-rotor platforms and is an experienced UAS pilot, having trained initially during his time with the UK Royal Artillery. His work experience also includes six years as a senior GIS analyst at global engineering firm Jacobs.
He has a degree in geography and music from Canterbury Christ Church University and a masters in GIS from the University of Salford.
