PARTICIPANT: Round-table on tower crane inspections
Peter Juhren, vice president of operations for Morrow Equipment Co has been in the tower crane industry for more than 37 years. Mr Juhren has held several positions since 1980 with Morrow Equipment, managing a number of branch offices throughout the United States before assuming the role as the vice president of operations. He is responsible for corporate operations globally, including service, spare parts, purchasing, training, and engineering.
Mr Juhren currently is a member of the ASME B30 main committee and is the past chair of the ASME B30.3 sub-committee for Tower Cranes, is a current member of the Board of Directors of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) and the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association. He serves on the SC&RA Crane & Rigging Tower Crane Committee.
He also served on the Federal OSHA C-DAC committee in 2004 to re-write subpart CC (CFR 1926.1400). In addition, Mr. Juhren serves on the ISO-TC96 committee for global standardization of crane standards, and the Canadian Z248 committee for tower cranes.
