Daniela Niederstätter

Board member, Niederstätter SpA & founder, Rentmas

Daniela Niederstätter’s greatest aspiration is to bring people together – both within and beyond her company. She firmly believes that true change happens when employees and business partners are empowered to grow and actively shape the future. As she puts it, “Without change, transformation is impossible. And social transformation begins with the willingness to embrace people.”

Her own journey is a testament to this philosophy, as she had to embrace change herself: after pursuing a degree in history, she took an unexpected turn and joined the family business, stepping into the construction sector. Under the mentorship of the first-generation leadership, she gained a deep understanding of the company’s foundations before taking the helm of Niederstätter alongside her brother Manuel.

In 2020, the siblings launched rentmas, a startup aimed at changing the way construction machinery is rented. Their very first project together reflected their shared vision – introducing fresh perspectives to drive innovation within the sector.

Today, Niederstätter is widely recognized for its deep commitment to employee engagement, corporate citizenship, and support for regional and international art and culture initiatives.

For Daniela, art and culture are powerful forces that open minds and spark new ways of thinking. She sees art as one of the most powerful catalysts for overcoming fear – especially the fear of change. By welcoming diverse perspectives and encouraging those around her to grow, she hopes to foster a culture of transformation.
