Francesco Aiello is a 25-year veteran of Terex Corp who since August last year has been general manager of Terex Tower Cranes, working from the company’s factory in Fontanafredda in the northeast of Italy.

He has held a number of increasingly senior roles at the business, from service manager to operations director. In 2011 he moved to Switzerland as supply chain director then returning to Italy in 2016 as site director.

Francesco began his engineering career in quality assurance for a company producing piping and fittings for special applications. He has a Master’s degree in civil engineering.

He was born in Bologna but has spent most of his life in Perugia. He is married and with two children.
