Steve Bradby started working with Kier Plant as a graduate trainee in 1994 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Having worked for crane rental companies and manufacturers he has provided aftersales support for tower, crawler and wheeled mobile cranes throughout Northern Europe. He has therefore gained a wealth of experience and knowledge.

In addition to leading the Select Plant industry-leading innovation and engineered safety agenda, Steve also sits on British Standards committees for lifting and CPA (Construction Plant-hire Association) committees. He also speaks at international conferences and regularly hosts the IMechE’s crane safety and sustainability conference.

Bradby has recently worked on bringing new AI and sustainability products to the market, such as the Dumarey Flybrids and Ampd Batteries.

Out of work, Steve applies his engineering mind in the garage resurrecting classic cars.
